The Youngstown Crab Company
We are on a short two-day trip to eastern Ohio and stayed at a hotel next to The Youngstown Crab Company, 3917 Belmont Ave. Youngstown, OH. This was a pleasant surprise. The Bucket of Alaskan Crab legs, at $54 seemed a tad expensive so Lynne had the Seafood Platter and I had the Shrimp Gumbo followed by the broiled Haddock. We were suprised that the total bill, including two drinks, came to $54. Great service, but the crowd was light, even for a Monday.

Defensive Pistol Shooting - Centerville Ohio
This is my first experience of defensive shooting. That means you move through a couse shooting bad guys. The following were the scenarios: An airplane hijacking in which you play the Air Marshall, A home invasion in which family members are taken hostage. Another family hostage situation in a house. Finally a brewery robbery. Information can be found at http://www.defensivepistol.org/
Most importantly, the airplane scenario required the shooting of two steel plates, and I was successful in hitting those with one shot each. In fact, all my shooting, was more natural and accurate perhaps because I was mainly concerned with how I was moving, and where I was placing my feet. A very positive and exciting experience. Will be doing this again.
